kavanaghfennell has been a specialist in Corporate Recovery and Insolvency Services since its formation in 1997.
This Firm was involved in a significant number of high profile Corporate Recovery assignments, including the Liam Carroll and Fleming Construction Groups.
We currently manage a distressed asset portfolio with an associated debt of several billion euro.
Over last 3 years, we have been involved in over 450 insolvency and corporate recovery projects including Receiverships/Court Liquidations/Creditor Voluntary Liquidations/Examinerships and Informal Schemes of Arrangement.
We have also advised creditors (including Revenue Commissioners and institutional clients) in relation to their position as creditors in various insolvency processes.
We provide regular presentations on current insolvency trends and issues to our institutional clients.
In association with the Chartered Accountants Ireland “CAI” kavanaghfennell published “A Practical Guide to Insolvency”, which is an invaluable assistance to business advisors/banks/directors and anyone requiring a detailed but simple to use guide in relation to the area of insolvency and corporate recovery.
The Firm also lectures on the CAI “Diploma in Insolvency” course which commenced in 2010 and we also lecture and carry out various training programs on behalf of the CAI.
Also, the firm made a key note presentation on insolvency at the annual conferences for the CAI and the Irish Taxation Institute in 2010.
